John and jim were very welcoming along with dude the dog who would come over and say hello. The beds were really comfortable and kept warm throughout the night with the heater. The toilets and showers were very clean. Loved the kitchen which was well stocked and had everything you need. We took our own coal and wood and enjoyed a bbq and a fire in the evenings. Great location. Lots of walks around the country park and things to see. Very quiet at night as well. Would highly recommend.

The hut was so cosy and peaceful in the rain and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Needed a break from a hectic week in the office so myself and the Mrs went and hid away from the world in the tranquility of the countryside. Great pub nearby too. Great trip 🤩
