What an amazing little gem on the Isle of Skye. We fell in love with Skye this week, and that had a lot to do with staying in this sweet little pod. The compact space is clean and modern, with everything you need to get away. Steve and Angela did so much to make us feel welcome and were so kind. Lovely hosts! We were lucky enough to enjoy some beautiful weather, so we even had time to sit on the porch and enjoy the Scottish landscape. The pod is tucked away, but there is a lovely little pub down the road where we were able to enjoy dinner. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting the Isle of Skye.

Located in Portree and only 47 km from Dunvegan Castle, Kintyre Caravan provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and garden views. It was like our motorhome at home. If we needed help she was right there to tell us what to do.

Set in Ardvasar and only 36 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Rubha Phoil offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. In a lovely spot overlooking the ferry at Armadale. The place is ideal for those who want something just a little more adventurous. Although it had rained and the ground was damp, it stayed dry while we were there; heavy rain would certainly change the experience. Ludwig was very helpful and efficient.

Set in Breakish and only 10 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Aurora Skye offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a fabulous stay at Aurora! Stunning setting, very comfortable bed and pods that are well equipped with kitchen utensils including local welcoming treats. The EV charging on site was great, perfect to charge our car overnight and tour the island during the day. We had dinner at 1 restaurant Red Skye at walking distance (gets pretty busy so advised to book) and got a takeaway pizza in Broadford another evening. It was truly top notch - we can’t wait to come back!

Set in Edinbane, 16 km from Dunvegan Castle, kilcamb camping Pods offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property has river views. This was our first stay in a pod, and we enjoyed it. It is a quiet and relaxing location. There are just 2 pods, so the place isn't crowded. The kitchen is well equipped so that we could easily prepare our dinner and breakfast.
