The welcome was friendly, professional and in English. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bicycles were parked in a secure garden behind a locked gate. It's possible to charge e-bikes there using an extension lead. The best thing was the info we received about riding to Plasencia and onto Béjar. The Via Verde between the two is a real cycling treat. Oh, and there's a lively restaurant just across the road.

Montse was a welcoming, caring hostess. When she realised that we would struggle with stairs, she immediately offered an accessible downstairs room and helped us with our cases. Room clean and comfortable . Breakfast was very nicely laid out buffet style and good. Parking right outside the house.

Great little place for an overnight stay on the way home from a family wedding. Nice little town with a few cafe bars and a small local shop.

Awesome owners! They were always super helpful and friendly, they even gave us vegetables from their garden that were delicious.
The apartment has everything you may need, including A/C, a complete kitchen, washing machine, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, etc. It's very spacious, with a huge terrace and a balcony. The internet connection is pretty fast, we were working remotely for a couple of days, zero issues. Oh and you can park right at the door.
The town is small but it has a few grocery stores, many bars, a sports center, a nice boulevard, a beautiful park, a pharmacy, a bank, etc. In general, food and drinks in the places nearby were very affordable.
The place is pet friendly as the owners also have pets, but it was super clean. We were traveling with our small dog and he was instantly welcomed :)
In short, absolutely recommended!

Typical hilltop village in Extramadura. We stayed only one night as we travelled the length of Spain. Facilities were thoughtfully provided unlike the last hotel we stopped at. Parking was nearby but we could easily offload our bags outside the house
