Location was great in the centre of town
The reserved, covered parking was very useful
The stylish and modern ETH Rioja is conveniently located 2 km outside Haro, in Spain's celebrated wine region, La Rioja. The hotel offers a good restaurant with an impressive selection of local wines....
Originally a 14th-century convent, this beautiful, historic building now offers unique accommodation in the La Rioja region. Rooms are set around an impressive central lounge area with a glass roof.

The apartment was large and very clean. Victor was lovely and made lots of recommendations of areas to visit around Haro. I would 100% recommend staying here for anyone visiting Haro and the local wineries.

Comfortable well priced hostel close to everything. I had a single room which was great value. Good kitchen and common area with good balconies to watch life go by

Whilst a number of the wine producers of the Rioja region have their bodegas in one area of Haro, the actual town is quite run down. It was ok as a stop off on the way to the ferry in Bilbao an hour away. The house wine offered in the bars was also very good!

The centre of Haro is full of character and is generally buzzing with people at the cafes and bars in the evening. We were in Haro to visit vineyards and to have wine tastings, which are placed on the outskirts of the town. We visited a restaurant, "Beethoven", for the reknowned lamb, which was delicious. Haro is small enough to be able to see the whole town on foot and makes for an interesting trip.

One of my favorite town in Spain!
One of my favorite town in Spain! Amazing scenery, great trekking routes around the wineries, wonderful wines, what else? It's a perfect base to explore the wine making country and worth visiting in four seasons :)

A lovely smart Rioja town.
A lovely smart Rioja town. Some fine old buildings cathedral and square.
Good variety of cafes bars and restaurants around.
The sister hotel ARROPE has a lovely garden for drinks and tapas across from the hotel Los Agostinos.
There are a ton of wine outlets to go to at the bottom of town and also off licences
You can do mini wine tours and courses in Haro too
Haro is very near the motorway AP68 so if travelling you are soon on your way it’s great for a stop over to and from the ferry ports to the UK
There was a really big house with a nice garden and a swimming pool.
House is good prepared for kids as there is a room for kids to play and the swimming pool.
Neighbourhood was nice and quiet with a lot of space to park. If you like wine tasting there are many great vineyards in walking distance (max 20-30 minutes) in Haro.
In the basement it was a barbecue and a big table to have lunch or dinner what it is typically called "Txoko".
A great combination of historic charm and modern comfort. As for the historic charm, there are timbered ceiling with exposed beams and areas of limestone walls. The kitchen area is nicely designed and has everything one could want. The bathroom/shower is nicely appointed and worked well. The location was perfect -- less than a 2-minute walk to Haro’s main square with shops and restaurants easily accessible.
Each suite has its own floor, and the top is split-level with a hot tub and sauna on the top level. Gorgeous decor and very comfortable. Even had a washing machine which was great for me because I'd been traveling for several weeks. Right in the center of Haro, too, a ten minute walk from all the wineries. Also,
Pablo, the owner, made reservations for us each night and made our stay really special!
Absolutely stunning building in the centre of Haro. The main hall/bar has a quite beautiful glass ceiling (compare to the British museum in London). The bedrooms are very large and spacious and very comfortable. We did not eat dinner there but had a drink and I think dining might lack ambience. The bar area was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful with us and our bikes.
This property has a long history of which we appreciated a great deal! The rooms reflect the character of the building. The atrium, dining area was wonderful!! We want to make a special thank you to the concierge Sonia, who was helpful and excellent in every way possible. She was simply the very best and contributed so much to our wonderful stay in Haro!!!
Modern and clean hotel with big rooms. The rooms included a small walk in closet, a big bathroom and a big bedroom. The bed itself was also big and comfortable. From the rooms that face the main square you also see the mountain range in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everything worked seamlessly
Lovely small hotel on the main square in Haro. Room was very comfortable and had all we needed.
Parking was about 5-10 mins walk away but secure and with good size spaces.
Main bodega area near the station was a 10-15 min walk away. Book tours in advance if you want them. They were fully booked when we just turned up.
An ideal apartment right in the heart of Haro ,with free parking nearby .The host was brilliantly helpful with recommendations of the best bars, cafes and restaurants, wine bodegas to visit and local attractions. Checking in was straightforward. An ideal place to stay to explore La Rioja.
Grace met us at the property with the keys. the apartment was very clean and spacious. They had bed linens and towels available. The beds were very comfortable. Apartment was close to all bars and restaurants. We will definitely plan to stay there again during our next visit to Haro.
Great location, perfect for exploring Haro. Apartment is beautifully decorated. The host provided a tasty breakfast and was very helpful with recommendations on where to eat in Haro. Would definitely stay again!
Very nice appartement in the middle (only a few metres from the main square) of Haro.
The appartement was modern, well equipped and very clean.
No keys necessary, entrance via app. is a bit unusual.
Very nice location, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to organize parking in hotel-related garage or on streets. Less than 2 minutes to walk to main square.
