The welcome was lovely. We arrived early and the owners were pleased to greet us. They explained the facilities well leaving us to get on with enjoying the covered pool and extensive garden facilities. Toilets and shower at the pool, toilets in reception autolights as you walked through the house, a lovely breakfast of fruit juice, fruit salad, bread and irebico ham and an assortment of cakes and biscuits, which we don't do in Britain, but are available at every Spanish breakfast. Lerma is a small but important village, and the hotel el cerro is within a 5 minute walk of everything. Perfect for a one or two night stay. We intended to play golf, but it was too hot. If you go to play golf 3 nights is orobably OK. Great value, lovely people. And the hostess speaks decent English, but the lady who does breakfast has very good English.

La Hacienda de mi Señor is located in Lerma, just off the A-1 Motorway and 20 minutes’ drive from Burgos. It has a charming lounge housed in the former wine cellar.

Very helpful staff particularly when it came to finding somewhere safe to keep my bicycle overnight. The hotel was delightful with a lot of old world charm and breakfast was good. The location too was excellent.

Great location for the town and close to the main town square for parking (free). The hotel is one of the very few modern building in the town and is a very clean and functional budget hotel. Breakfast is basic but well served.

Very good location with easy parking across the road. Check in quick and easy. Room pretty and clean. Breakfast buffet very good with lots of selection. Fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants and toast, fresh meats and cheese. Would definitely stay again. The staff and owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Lerma is so beautiful.

The owners were very helpful Especially as my husband hurt his shoulder,she even helped me carry bags to room. Very comfortable and super clean.shower amazingly powerful. We used Google translate,she helped me choose places to eat. breakfast was good..tomatoes on toast.,coffee and juice. Lovely terrace to chill out on. Brilliant underground private parking.. Right in the streets off the main square
