The roof terrace was amazing, a perfect place to end my Camino. The personnel was nothing short of amazing, helped with every question, ensured an easy check in and made my stay a great experience. Breakfast was wonderful as well! Will for sure come again!

LOVED the property, beautiful waterfront views , soo comfortable . Hosts helpful and generous , left tea , coffee , jams , bread biscuits etc . Would highly recommend, one of our favourite Camino accommodations.
I always come with happiness to Muxia. I choose all the time Bella Muxia for the reason of the welcoming hospitalieros and also the Special Albergue and Hostel facilities that I could find from 2017, when I came first time. This is my second time in 2023 staying , both in common albergue and one guest room too in my holiday.
Everything was perfect in both cases.
I recomend Bella Muxia.

We walked from Lires to Muxia which was approximately 16kms. Lires to Muxia is an easier walk than Muxia to Lires. The last 5kms into Muxia is downhill with about 2kms on bitumen.
The walk to the Sanctuary was worth it passing by the disused Condor Eel drying site. The Artisan Lacemakers have a hut on the top working on lace while you watch. Lace is for sale from this shed. Didn’t see any other outlet in the town itself.
Views from the top are spectacular and worth the walk.

Muxia is a lovely place with a really special atmosphere, to my mind it’s a better place to stay and for finishing a Camino than Finisterre. There’s not a great deal to do, exploring the whole town takes about an hour. There are some very pretty old buildings and the landscape and sea by the lighthouse are spectacular. There are plenty of bars and restaurants offering very fresh seafood at reasonable prices, if you fancy a swim the beach is safe, clean and pleasant. Bus links are good. I’ve been three times and like it more each time, it is a nice place just to be.

Muxia is a beautiful little coastal port/village, it is the final finishing point for the Camino so there are is no shortage of people arriving and leaving. It is also popular at the weekends and fiestas with locals who travel from all over to have lunch. So if you are thinking of eating at Lonxa d Alvaro (which is excellent) make sure you book as a table there is very sought after. There are lots of other amazing options for dinning and its easy to spend the days just eating.

Muxia is a wild and rocky coastal town with two light houses visible. and a beautiful church site 1/2 mile from town. We wandered there every evening, it’s especially beautiful at sunset. We walked to a few Sandy beaches, but because of 25 mile an hour wind gusts the entire time of our stay, we did not enjoy the beaches as we had hoped. We found all of the towns people very warm, welcoming and accommodating, and seafood was the very best we’ve had while in Spain!

If you want peace and quiet and idyllic beaches and friendly people, this will suit you. I was actually in Merexo, but went to Muxia for an afternoon. It is full of bars and restaurants, but it is a little town. There is a port and a few little streets to wander along. Not loud and touristy. Lovely.
Bella Muxia was the perfect place to relax after finishing 45 days on the Camino. The owner, Angel, made me feel very welcome and kindly helped me select a double room that would provide the best rest for me — sunny, comfortable bedding, and a spacious patio to enjoy. The views from the roof of the property out over Muxia are beautiful! Added bonus - it was only a short walk to the Santuario and the sea cliffs to watch a beautiful sunset. I would absolutely love to return to Muxia one day and stay here again!
What a wonderful place to stay. It is so well run and nothing was too much trouble. The dormitories were of a good size and each bunk had privacy curtains, light and socket. The toilets/showers were far enough away so as not to cause any major disturbance. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Comfortable area by the entrance to relax and a good sized kitchen for the use of guests, with a fair bit of seating etc. Great location just back from the 'front road' of Muxia. Loved it and you will too.
This is a very modern albergue just past Quintans and only 10 kms to Muxia. If you want a short walk into Muxia, this is a great stop. There are only 10 beds with sheets, comforter and a towel provided. Each bed has its own TV but I couldn’t figure out how to operate it. There’s a small well stocked kitchen but no restaurants or cafes nearby except in Quintans so you need to bring your own food. The hostess lives next door and was very friendly and helpful.
We booked last minute in the evening and the host was super friendly and welcoming and let us in immediately, also let us leave our bags the next day or even stay over time if we wished as no one was booked in.
Great price for what you get.
Nice, fresh and comfortable bedding and towels.
It has a bath which is always nice even if we didn't have time to use it!
Perfect location between the Rocks at Muxía and the town.
Older hotel that has been renovated throughout with style. Larger room than newer built hotels. Excellent ocean location. We were doing the Camino but there was plenty of free public parking. Tasty a la carte served breakfast at fair cost. Good internet. Very clean. Beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. Rianna is an exceptionally friendly and helpful receptionist.
What a great treat my stay at Pensión Alemana. Very comfortable and accommodating. Very close to the bus that takes you back to Santiago. A short walk to the marina and to The Church. The restaurant downstairs was nice and the food was good. They had a bag picnic for me the morning I departed. Thanks that was so sweet😀 I recommend staying here while visiting Muxia.
from the moment that I walked into this hotel I knew I was welcome and that I would have a positive experience. The owner was on reception that morning and that spoke volumes to me. I got an early check in, was given a room with a view from paradise. The other receptionist (Riain) was so friendly and welcoming. I loved this hotel
Muxia was great. This apt. Was superb. Easy pre-regisyration on line gave all door codes via WhatsApp. Apt. Had everything we needed. Full Kitchen and amenities, even a washing machine in the apt., great view of the harbor, comfortable beds with plenty of outlets, shelves and lighting.
Beautifully maintained historic property. All amenities were top notch, Jacuzzi, spectacular bedding, delicious welcome chocolates. Great chef. Best food I have had in hotel restaurant on the camino. They provided transportation from and back to Olveiroa!
Location closed to the "Camino path" , in the center of the city and not far from the cathedral placed in front of the ocean.
The staff were very gentle and available helping me for some needs.
It was a good hotel experience
Perfect Location to visit Muxia and the Costa de Morte. Supermarket 500m, lighthouse 15min Walk along the coast. Parking only 1min away at the harbour. Lots of Restaurants and Cafés nearby. Very friendly host.
convenient to the bus stop, 4 minute walk and a 15 minute pleasant walk to the church on the rocks.
The most comfortable bed in Spain, best towels in Spain, Netflix on the TV, very quiet, great place to stay!
Good location in the middle of Muxia. A large laundry room where you can hand wash or pay to use the machines. Big kitchen with multiple stovetops so multiple people can cook. Showers were nice and hot.
The host and staff at Muxia Mare are super friendly, very helpful and speak a good range of languages. The accomodation is comfortable and good value for money, in an ideal location for the Camino.
The location is magic -- stunning views. The design of the building (six stories built into a hillside) is radical but really works perfectly. One of the very best hotels in which we have stayed.
The Parador is set above a beautiful bay giving you magical views across to the little town Muxia. The rooms are spacious and well designed and the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful.
