Fabulous decor and extremely comfortable. Loved the bed linen and beautiful woollen throw which Ezcaray is famous for. The complimentary bottle of Rioja in the room was a lovely touch too. Delicious food and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but wish we'd had longer not only to spend in the hotel but also to have more time to discover Ezcaray.

The owner Juan is a welcoming kind and helpful host. His vision is to have a eco friendly hotel and very refreshing to see how he doing this. Room was simple, clean and bright with a balcony. Quiet.
