Whoever designed and furnished the hotel has a wonderful eye for detail and the same can be said for the meals which were a delight. Good food, well cooked and beautifully presented. We also loved the village of Terrades which we have driven past on many occasions. Lovely old streets full of interesting houses, pots of plants and it is so very, very cared for and clean.AnnUnited Kingdom

The two gentlemen who run this small olde-world style hotel are friendly, charming and so helpful. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and Juan Carlos and José Maria made a huge effort to make our New Year's Eve meal one to remember. We cannot thank them enough and warmly recommend La Fornal to anyone visiting this delightful part of Catalonia.
