Lovely and quiet at this time of year. Beaches, coastal paths and dunes amazing for walking - very dog friendly cafes and pubs - The Landing, Craster Arms and Beadnell Towers. If you want shops, easy drive to Seahouses.

Beadnell is now a mainly tourist village, with a lot of new houses and more being built. But this is because it is such a good location, right next to the sea with the coast path, the wide and long sandy beaches and tiny old harbour. for a small places there are quite a few places to eat, and a shop.
It is very popular with people with dogs, and kite-surfers!

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer.
Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer. It has good beaches, several coffee shops and restaurants to suit most people. The Courtyard Coffee shop was particularly handy for a quick bite to eat. A Fish and Chip van is parked near the village shop but you would need to check opening times. Very good local village shop which is clean and well stocked. Food, Gifts cards, Ice cream, drinks, newspapers magazines wine and beer. You can walk between the village and the harbour. There is a caravan park and several chalets to rent out. There are a number of places to park but at weekends and peak times it’s a little more tricky. A short car ride away is Seahouses and in addition Beadnell is a good base to explore the Northumbrian coast.

Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island.
Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island. Only complaint is there are very few restaurants or pubs nearby and the cafe closed at 5pm. Accommodation is very good value for what we paid and is roomy and comfortable for 2 people.

Beadnell is amazing, beach is stunning, the Landing pub is fab, food good and staff really friendly and even more prefect the location right of the beach. Also the food and staff at the Craster Arm are amazing. Everywhere is dog friendly
Have stayed here previously - really good value. We were lucky to get earlier check in. I like parking my car near any hotel and this is great as you can park outside your room. Nice room and good shower. Had all the basics plus extras like biscuits and water in the fridge. The Courtyard was a few steps away and supplied great breakfasts and lunches/snacks. Our second visit and for sure we will stay there again when we are in the area.
Loved this place! Great lodge- clean and excellent parking facilities. Easy check in and owners kept in touch to let us know when room available.
Fabulous location to explore Beadnell, Seahouses and Bamuburgh. Lovely grassed area in front of property to sit out on in the sun.
Superb value for money! Would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again soon we hope!
The property was set in a lovely location with a welcoming reception area and had recently been renovated/decorated to a high standard. We stayed in the coach house section of the hotel in a beautifully done out room, brilliant walk in shower and beautiful copper bath! Excellent meals and wonderful breakfast with very attentive staff 😊
The hotel next door served tasty, well presented food (we ate there Christmas Eve). Cocktail hour was between 3-4pm which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The village offered other eating venues. We didn’t try all of them. Location good to visit other areas close by.
It was roomy but cosy. it had all we needed - a bit more than a hotel room - comfy seating area. Private outdoor space for sitting out if the weather had been right. Modern decor. great breakfasts . welcoming hostess.
The room was comfy and cosy, looked exactly like the photos, good parking facilities, really quiet and peaceful. Given the prices of the other hotels in the area around Newton hall this was great value for money
We've just had a lovely little break away at The Craster Arms Hotel. It was clean and perfect for a stay with young children, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. I'd definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel, adhering to Covid precautions. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, food was beautiful at dinner and breakfast. Lovely location within walking distance to a great beach.
