Det var enormt mange turister i gatene, antatt pga engelsk skoleferie. Det er en av Englands største turistdestinasjoner, så hvis du liker færre turister og mindre støy, dra heller til Ullswater. Vi vil unngå Bowness i fremtiden fordi det er for travelt og turistifisert.

Vi hadde perfekt vær! Avreisedagen regnet det kraftig, og da ville det har vært vanskelig å gå turer og kjøre rundt i Lake District!
