Location, dog friendly and relaxed. Lovely setting along canal with marina.
Halo Crowwood Hotel Glasgow enjoys a relaxed out of town atmosphere. The hotel is located adjacent to Crowwood Golf Club and just a 10-minute drive from Glasgow city centre.

The restaurant had a tasty mixture of Indian and Scottish menus, which was interesting....though the free poppadoms seemed a little stale.

The room was small but comfortable.
The restaurant was very good. The food was excellent with great service.
The price included breakfast, which had a good choice and definitely good value for money

Cumbernauld is a lovely place to visit plenty of attractions to see. Lots of good restaurants and a good range of food available. Near to Falkirk to visit the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. Central for Falkirk, Stirling and Glasgow.

Cumbernauld village is part of the huge Cumbernauld estate, a town outside of Glasgow. Only stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area. Easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh etc. We ate at the Coorie which is part of the Black Bull inn, food good and staff very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t do any site seeing so can’t comment on the local town faclities, but a huge place and a car is necessary.

Have stayed here several times.
Have stayed here several times. Location and fact it’s pet friendly suits my needs. Staff are always amazing. Friendly and helpful. Recent visit disappointing. Room not as comfort as I remembered and breakfast definitely not as good as before.
Coffee stations not working or needing replenished.
Orange juice dispenser needed replenished.
Sausage/bacon platters at buffet needed replenished at different times.
Embarrassing having yo ask staff about- coffee station, orange juice, sausage platter, bacon platter.
Will always go back as location and pet friendly is perfect, but having to pay £20 for pet should ensure client gets same Hilton comfort as other guests.
Perhaps more staff in kitchen would ensure quality Hilton breakfast.
Full praise to Westerwood Staff.. They are the reason I would return.

This is a very strange town.
This is a very strange town. I think we stayed in the old part. Small, only 2 not very nice looking restaurants and some take aways. To get to the new part you need to drive as we could not find any proper roads unless you want to go past a dual carriageway. 30 minute walk anyway. The new part of town is even worse than the old part, no real city centre, many restaurant chains.
Went to a park nearby, that was OK.

Good food at The Black Bull in the Village.
Book parking at attractions in advance as they can be busy.

I would recommend visiting Cumbernauld Village but, unless you enjoy large shopping malls, not the Town Centre, a 1950s 'New Town'.
The Village was the original part and the Town that grew from it was carefully planned with lots of green spaces. It could have been more enjoyable if there wasn't so much decay. It doesn't look as though money is spent on repairing and reviving what must have been a massive improvement on the back streets of Glasgow.
Bus service no. 37X to Falkirk takes you directly back to Cumbernauld Village - 2 miles away from the Town Centre.
Awful awful awful the spa team shocking very unprofessional
I made a thorough written complaint and verbal complaint whilst at the hotel no reply no explanation it was shocking I travelled with kids one of whom disabled it was so awful police attended the next day for an incident with other guests and conducted their interviews in full sight in the family dining drinks area on the Sunday morning honestly do not entertain this place you will be disappointed
Good location for a visit to the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies just off the M80. The pub is located in the old village of Cumbernauld so nice and quiet. Simple key box used for entry, good communication from staff.
Room small but cosy, nicely decorated. VERY comfortable bed and great shower facilities.
No noise discernible from the actual pub immediately adjacent to the rooms even on what seemed a busy Saturday night.
Would absolutely book again.
Irene - the host - was so thoughtful and really helped us out with everything we needed. Even when the world conspired against her (wifi dropout / water pressure issues in the area) she went above and beyond to make sure our stay wasn't impacted.
A truly stunning place in the countryside, but close enough to edinbrough / glasgow / stirling for a lovely Scotland break!
The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was nice and the shower was strong so all in all the room was great. We had dinner and breakfast and both were good. Dinner had just enough choice on the menu for everyone and the food was delicious. The breakfast was excellent and nice to see square sausages :-).
The pool spa area is nice too.
Katie's house was so conveniently located; close to shops for necessitis and some nice restaurants, and then Glasgow and Edinburgh. Lovely location for numerous day trips to scenic and beautiful places of interest. The house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable with all the amenities required to make it a 'home from home'.
Upgraded to a comfortable, spacious room in the main building as we were meeting family for lunch. Room was clean and had lots of hanging space and drawers for a longer stay.
Lovely bar/restaurant area with well laid out connections to rooms and function rooms. Friendly staff and good choice of tasty dishes for lunch and dinner.
Great hotel, lovely pool for guests to use. Great dinner menu with lots of choice.
Lovely big room, 2 large double beds with lots of space.
Great breakfast with a very helpful member of staff who advised where to park when visiting the Kelpies and what to do.
This was a perfect place to spend the night on our way to Glasgow. The room was clean and tidy. It was a bit of a creaky building (I think there must have been another room directly above ours), but otherwise it was nice and quiet.
Extremely handy straight off the motorway and convenient for visiting the nearby Falkirk wheel.Ample parking, check-in easy. Room was spacious and clean. Staff helpful. Food was not awe inspiring but perfectly edible.
Location was perfect for us, in between Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Very friendly staff and very friendly patrons so much so we were able to stay an extra day.
