Wonderful in every way. The staff was incredible. The restaurant was world class, pricey but the food was definitely in the fine dining category.

Beautiful quiet, peaceful setting. Comfortable, big and extremely clean room. Fresh tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival along with more facilities in our room. Lovely breakfast. Great, friendly hosts who can't do enough for you and always have time to chat. I'd definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome, exceptional quality throughout, perfect location for our requirements and the breakfast was spot on. The small stairs presented a challenge for my size 13 feet but that's part of the charm of the place.

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town.
Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished.
The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops.
The people we met so friendly.
The cherry on the cake is a second hand book shop. The books there just incredible!

The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. Garden unkempt and garden furniture rusty.

A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good.
Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! The wonderful village of Portmeirion [famous for it's use in the 60's TV series 'The Prisoner'] is not too far away either

Great walking - either flat to Barmouth, or up the mountain. A great selection of pubs, all serving good beer, and a decent curry house (the Lemon Grass - but cash only and BYOB). Has everything you need for a few days away.

Beautiful thriving little market town with lots of unique shops, as well as a few staples, and a big Spar. The restuarant that we went to (Y Sospan) was amazing. You don't need a car to get around town, and if you bring your bikes or walking gear, the estuary and mountains are yours for the views and swimming.

A lovely little town with many attractive shops and restaurants.
We visited the tapas bar more than once.
The food was delicious.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia area and for going south to Mid-Wales.
Lechwedd is a very nice, comfortable, warm, well situated and appointed house. It was a pleasure to stay in and the host was very helpful. It is a ten minute walk from the interesting town of Dolgellau, which has a number of useful shops and good places to eat. It its a perfect base to explore and enjoy a lovely area: Cader Idris immediately to the south, Barmouth 9 miles away to the east and Snowdon 24 miles to the north. There are many interesting and beautiful walks very close. We really enjoyed our time there.
We were upgraded to an empty property, a very kind gesture and greatly appreciated. The Stable Cottage is a beautiful homely building, we had everything we needed and more. Owners were always offering local information, suggesting places to see etc. Very helpful and friendly but not overbearing at all. Location is fantastic, everything is so scenic, lots of walks nearby and easy access by road to anywhere in mid or north Wales.
Very grateful to Rich and family for having us, we are already talking about coming again!
Perfect location in centre of Dolgellau. Great communication from the hosts, and totally accommodating of all our requests. Charming and very old building, with lots of interesting features, and a grand history. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into giving guests a good experience.
Breakfast was great, with attention given to specific requests. Very good value for money, and would highly recommend if visiting the area and looking for accommodation.
Betty and Richard were friendly and helpful and the hotel is an exquisite Victorian house with huge rooms right in the middle of Dolgellau.
The breakfast had all anyone could have wanted and because it’s a small hotel we all sat at the same long table and the discussions were fun.
Betty and Richard were having a barbecue the first night and invited me to go free of charge. I was going out but when I got back the party was still going on. Brilliant.
Excellent hosts with a really interesting and characterful B&B full of items from their extensive travels. Great location in a quiet area but still very near the centre of Delgellau and all facilities. Lovely views of the surrounding area. Hosts were very accommodating to an early rise, and breakfast was excellent.
Comfortable, clean location, right in the heart of Dolgellau (very nice village and good location for making tours and with nice pubs). Big kitchen, comfy bedrooms. Nicely renovated flat in a historical house. We were kindly provided with several basics and treats (tea, welsh cakes, jam and more).
The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Nick was so friendly with such a warm accommodating attitude, As I went climbing near by, he phone to check in when it got late to make sure I was safe, I missed breakfast the next morning, but he so kindly left me a nice bacon roll for when I returned.
The hosts were incredibly helpful and went out of their way with everything we needed. Truly beautiful people. Lovely well appointed apartment recently renovated with new carpet. The village itself is very charming and good access to the attractions of North Wales.
Lovely four night stay over the Jubilee weekend. Very comfortable, friendly, clean B&B with parking which I can highly recommend. Excellent location to explore this fabulous area of North Wales. Close to several pubs, shops & restaurants. I will stay again.
Lovely little hut. Everything you need was there like kitchen utensils, washing up liquid, soap and towels!
Hosts very friendly.
Felt out of the way even though was close to road.
Nice outside area.
Lovely location, close to Dolgellau and a short drive to Barmouth, easy to find (near Starbucks). The Pod was clean, nicely decorated and had everything needed for an overnight stay.
Nothing not to like prob best small hotel in the area .rooms spotless .building stunning .views to die for. Breakefast fresh well cooked .can only say try it nothing better in area
spacious room, comfortable bed and sofa, large tv, good Wi-Fi signal, breakfast in the bedroom, hottest hot water in north wales, views over Cader Idris, peaceful morning.
