My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing.

My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing. I noted that the racecourse is just a couple of minutes from where I was staying, and the Lakeside shopping centres a few minutes more in the opposite direction. I would have liked to visit the air museum but didnt have time

Booked the hotel to attend an event at Doncaster Racecourse, over the August Bank Holiday. The hotel is right next door and our room was a room with a view of the race-course. The room was a good size for 2 with a sitting area, a TV, tea& coffee, safe, iron and hairdryer. Lovely king size bed. Food - was very impressed with the meals we had at the hotel. Great quality and decent prices (and portion sizes) Breakfast, full english was tasty, not greasy and came with toast - was also served very quickly

Breakfast was great and the lady who served us was brilliant. I had invited a friend to join me and couldn’t go in the main restaurant because I had my dog with me. But the service was second to none. Also the lady on reception was fantastic. She was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. She even took my case to the room. I would definitely stay again if visiting Doncaster There is a fabulous park at the back of the hotel. Great since I needed to walk my dog before returning to London

Location was ideally suited to visitors of the Wildlife Park and we got a train to Doncaster and an Uber to the hotel. We travelled as a family including my (adult) son who has autism and complex needs. All staff from reception, dining facilities and the park itself were immediately aware of my sons needs without explanation and couldn't have been more helpful or understanding.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location for a planned work meeting. Good size (single) room with enormous bathroom. Comfy bed. Lovely view from back of hotel. I didn't eat there, so can't comment, but the restaurant looked cosy and pleasant. Hope to stay again when I next visit Doncaster for work.

Pleasant stay generally. Staying on a Wednesday in November so streets outside were quiet but I'm guessing would be pretty noisy at the weekend. Only to be expected for a city centre hotel. Good location for theatre i was going to.
