The setting, house and its history was lovely. The pool and spa facilities are great. The room was big and nicely put together. And ‘the pantry’ was a nice touch, although would be nice if there was some dairy free milk available.

The room, although sited next to a staircase and a door that was used quite regularly by other guests, was quiet and comfortable. The view was of the car park so I could keep an eye on my car. I found the tea making facilities, decor and bathroom to be perfectly comfortable. I didn't use the bar or restaurant but they seemed to be lively and welcoming when I signed in.

Location was excellent and the hotel very attractive. We coped with this but would have liked to have been warned. On site parking was good. It met our needs of a central location. Staff pleasant.
