A new built brick chalet, hotel in Leysdown-on-Sea

Located in Leysdown-on-Sea in the Kent region, with Leysdown Beach nearby, A new built brick chalet provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Fab little chalet. You can tell how new it is, everything's very fresh and smart. Absolutely spotless. Plenty of linens and towels, all very soft and comfortable. Lots of space. Lovely big bathroom with great shower. Kitchen had everything you need, they'd even been thoughtful enough to make sure we could make a cup of tea on arrival. Plenty of free parking. Stumbling distance to the clubhouse, shame we were only there one night and didn't get to try it! Shop around the corner. We were a bit later than our check-in time but the hosts were super accommodating when we rang them, it was much appreciated after a long drive and a busy day. Would stay again.

Boat House, hotel in Leysdown-on-Sea

Boat House is located in Whitstable, within 200 metres of Whitstable Beach and 10 km of University of Kent.

Everything! Modern, brand new, clean, comfy! The room is spacious, has everything you need, a proper double bed not two singles pushed together like most cheap hotels, plus super comfy hard mattress amazing for your back, clean white sheets and funny covers on the cushions, little fridge, desk, kettle, hair dryer and even a wind break tent thingy in the closet. Massive tv (who cares???) and the loo is state of the art with a huge monsoon shower (could’ve spent an hour in there!) Plus it’s right in the beach which you can see from the window if you crane your head out and right next to a coffee/oyster place amazing after a morning 5k beach side run! Will use again!

I love leysdown it has stayed the same for years and I love that. Prices are very reasonable and it always looks clean and tidy despite what some people think. The people are always friendly I’ve not met a bad 1 yet. It is very family oriented and that’s what I love about it. Also just a short drive or 10 minute walk past leysdown is Shellness where your dogs are allowed I love taking my shitzu down there.

We walked from Leysdown to Shellness and inland through the Nature reserve to the 1000 year old church had lunch in the only Inn 'Ferry Inn', nice food but not much for vegans (I am vegan). Felt nice being in nature. The second day visited Emely Nature reserve lots of wild life to see, birds hares etc. Didn't do the arcades etc. so it depends what you want from a holiday and which parts of the Island you visit

I do not believe the photos on their web site.

I do not believe the photos on their web site. It's situated on a run down side roads. And they do not accept medium to large size dogs. the host was rude and drunk. We were stranded. No buses after 5.30pm. Also the site looks like a scene from an American horror movie set on a 'hilly billy' trailer park, therefore not safe for children or pets. Later I sat down and cried. It was the worst place I've ever been to.
