I had a wonderful stay!
I had a wonderful stay! It was a quick walk up from the train station and an easy check in with the lockbox. The room was beautifully decorated and perfect for my needs. Very comfortable bed. It has an excellent location on the high street - shops and restaurants are all around you. I had a super walk to Blockley - there are some great walks in the area and I took the bus down to the Stow and Bourton on the Water. Great break in the Cotswolds!

It could almost be thought of as the poor relation of the Cotswolds, but only compared to the more glamorous neighbours, Bourton on the Water and Broadway, but it is a very good centre for touring the area and has easy free parking, good shops and good restaurants.

A Beautiful Traditional English Town.
A Beautiful Traditional English Town. The building and architecture are full of history, the shops in the town are filled with art/antiques, plenty of restaurants, cafes, charity shops, local craft and gifts too, so there’s plenty to explore and do.

Moreton in Marsh was quintessentially English and very aesthetic. Full of pleasant eateries and antique shops. People were polite and said hello as you passed in the street. Extremely close to other places of interest and quaint villages that you could either wander around or make a brisk walk from.

Great little town in the Cotswolds with lots of intersting places to go to surrounding it. The town itself doesn't have a particularly busy high streeet but Stow on the Wold is only a few minutes drive away and has some lovely shops to mooch around. Lots of lovely walks in the area and some great hotels to be based in.

We visited the Batsford Arboretum for lunch.
We visited the Batsford Arboretum for lunch. It was raining, so we didn't walk through the Arboretum. There weren't as many shops as I was expecting for the size of the town, but it's not far to Stow-On-The-Wold

Location was perfect--easy walk from the train station. Apartment was HUGE and decor was first class--probably furnished from their luxury home store below the apartment. Window looks out over Morton-in-Marsh main street, but noise was not an issue and it was fun to open the window and be part of the town activity. There was a large full kitchen with a complimentary basket of snacks and bottle of Prosecco. Much better than a hotel room and very affordable. We loved it!
This was such an adorable cottage! Everything was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. The cottage is just around the corner from
High Street which has restaurants and shops. The owners really put lots of attention to detail into everything, such as providing complimentary coffee, tea and milk! We had a car rental and this location was very easy for us to drive out to see other villages each day.
Location is ideal. it is near the train station and located along High Street but the room is quiet.
Tim received me at the hotel before the official checkin time and allowed me to checkin.
He also responded to all my queries very fast, before and during my stay.
The accommodation has strong wifi and tv has Netflix too.
Everything was perfect, however due to the current labour shortages in this country, the bar was closed on Sunday Night. This is just unfortunate for the situation the country finds itself in. Incidently, most hotels and restaurants in Moreton in the Marsh are in the same situation, with most being closed on Sunday Night
The property was beautiful and historic, but also modernized in the right ways. The various areas to lounge and explore were lovely and the space felt spread out. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and both agreed the best meal of our trip was dinner at the Brasserie.
Breakfast was not available at this property during the weekend, but there were nice places to have breakfast in Moreton in Marsh. The reception staff were helpful when we reported problems with the room and found us an alternative room for our second night.
This. Pub is centrally located in Moreton-in-Marsh. Although there was not dedicated parking, we had no problem parking on the high street. A great spot from which to explore the Cotswolds. The landlord was friendly and welcoming.
The staff was very friendly and made sure we had all information and a comfortable stay. The room was perfect, great decoration and much bigger than in most hotels. In-room breakfast was great. Bed was very comfortable.
I thought the food served in the restaurant was very good. The staff were also really friendly and approachable. Easy access to the station from the hotel and the high street had a nice selection of shops.
It’s a 7-9 minute walk from the Moreton-in-Marsh station so you don’t need to ride a bus or taxi. It’s a quaint hotel with a nice garden. The food is also good
