This is one of the nicest b&bs I have ever stayed in. It was so modern and luxurious! The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible no attention to detail has been spared. The breakfast was 10/10! The owners are clearly very passionate about their business. I will 100% be coming back here.

We did part of the Northumberland Coastal walk (Cresswell to Dunstanburgh) and found the locals to be very friendly. Lots of free car parks near the coast, very well sign posted and plenty of benches.

Came for the Northumbrian Gathering.
Came for the Northumbrian Gathering. It's a great event if you like folk music and dancing. Lots of local culture. Talented artists. And the town itself is very attractive. It is small enough to park and walk to all places of interest.

Secret Cottage, Morpeth (Host: Alex) Morpeth was fine but accommodation and host not so good. Reported a major fault (no lighting in the main bathroom) this was not repaired during stay and to add insult to injury the host lied about everything in response to my review of Booking.com. Please don't trust this host or give him any of your hard-earned cash as he doesn't deserve the business. He was totally unsympathetic and had a terrible attitude. He said "go ahead and report to Booking.com because at the end of the day it is up to the host if a refund is given". AVOID THIS HOST!

Morpeth is a lovely little town.
Morpeth is a lovely little town. Highlights for me were the bagpipe museum - really is great - the park and all the little shops, especially the cheese shop by the clock tower. I went in windy January on a bicycle, which was not ideal, but I still really enjoyed myself.

We were only there for one night for a family birthday so did not get the opportunity to visit all the shops in the town centre. We did go to a fantastic Italian Restaurant Lollo Rosso which served amazing food and such attentive and friendly staff.
Location is great for central Morpeth - it is on one of the oldest streets in the town. Very quiet area and within 2 mins walk of restaurants and bars - 5 mins walk from various river walks
The interior is amazing - very realistic as per the images supplied on the website - the deluxe suite (which we booked) is worthy of living in and the bathroom is immense!
The owners are great people and make you feel really welcome. I took various Italians with me and they now want an English breakfast cooked by Carmen every day !!!!!
This is a beautiful property in an amazing setting. The furniture and decoration is fabulous. The surrounding countryside is teeming with amazing wildlife and you are in very short driving distance of Berwick, Alnwick, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Seahouses and so many more fantastic Northumberland attractions. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are incredible, there is outdoor furniture, Karen the owner is a delight and extremely helpful. We could not have enjoyed our stay here any more than we did. It was a joy.
Clean and comfortable B&B with very friendly hosts. Breakfast was really first class. Within easy walking distance of Morpeth town center where there is a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Lollo Rosso Italian restaurant highly recommended. I'd stay again without hesitation.
the room was very clean. the location of the hotel was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Morpeth. Free on site parking was a bonus, Staff were very helpful and moved us to a different room as our heating and TV wasn't working.
Location excellent for retreat I attended in Whalton village. Hotel decor somewhat shabby and dated BUT cleanliness excellent, breakfast delicious, staff very friendly and helpful. I would certainly return! Thank you very much!
Very spacious room and we were given three beds other than the expected 2. Staff were very friendly and accommodationing. Breakfast was excellent and the pub had a nice atomsphere and outside seating area was amazing
Location was excellent. Just a walk to Morpeth. A lovely park across the road to take the dog for a walk. The property was well equipped and cosy warm. Comfy beds. Hosts responded quickly to any communication.
Lovely new eastate, surrounds this hotel. Plenty of outdoor seating and the food although not a lot of choice was very tasty. Clos by is the old market town of Morpeth well worth a visit and walk around.

Very friendly staff the bedroom was nicely decorated The bar and restaurant areas are nicely done with log burners to keep you warm
The food and beer were both excellent
Fabulous Hotel and Location. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was pricey but very good. Breakfast was delicious. Stayed in the stylish Stable Block.
Room was spotless. Staff were all really friendly and efficient. Food was amazing. Location great for us, just a little drive from Morpeth.
Will return.
It's cheap and they always have rooms! Ok if you are in a pinch or at short notice. Bed was ok, no breakfast was available, which is probably a good thing.
