Location was in a lovely area, railway station was 5 minutes in the car from the Hotel
one slight issue was that we couldn't get a taxi, but it was Grand National weekend so it was very busy in the area
Breakfast was fabulous, all cooked to order with top quality ingredients
Hosts were very attentive, friendly and very kindly dropped us at the Station due to no taxi being available :):)

The reply from the owner is lies - we can provide proof that we left early and we even told him and he acknowledged it!!! The house was filthy!!! The photos speak for themselves!

Old farming town regenerated by a University. Easy connections around the North West by train, bus or car. Some excellent restaurants and pubs, to suit all tastes and budget. Various supermarkets and local market day on Thursdays.

It was easy to get to and only a few minutes drive form Ormskirk. Staff were accomdating and the selection of beers was great. We loved being able to go to the restaurant and then just stumble to bed afterwards - no need for a taxi or a dediacted driver!
