The bedroom was very comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent.
All in all I thought it was very good value for the money paid.
The grounds also contributed to the attractiveness of the hotel and gave a relaxing ambience.

Excellent check in and loads of parking available. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious with a good ensuite. The building was modern and decorated to a good standard. The grounds were nice and well maintained. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were good quality, tasty food at reasonable prices. All staff were friendly and helpful. Top of our list next time we are in the area.

Can't fault this place. The room and ensuite were impeccably clean, everything worked as it should. The included breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options and I chose to get a dinner from their restaurant as well. I had my dog with me, and although not allowed in the main dining area, there's a 'lounge' area right alongside where dogs can be, and it was easy enough to both order my dinner, then collect a buffet breakfast, from that spot. There are pet-friendly rooms close to the entrance which was really convenient. No issues with noise overnight. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great roads, you can get most places quickly.
Great roads, you can get most places quickly. A very green town with lots of trees and grassed areas. Good shopping centre and a great central location for visiting other local places such as Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon for example.

The town offers most if not everything you would want on a trip away. It’s close to Stratford-upon-Avon birthplace of Shakespeare that comes alive at 10am. Easy to spend a couple of days there with activities. People present friendly and the town feels safe.

A good town with a lot of big stores. 2 Wetherpoons and a good kebab shop(Pepenos) opposite the royal enfield wetherspoons. If this is your thing, you can't go wrong. All of this just a couple of hundred yards from the holiday inn express

Redditch is a pleasent town.
Redditch is a pleasent town. The hotel is near the centre and importantly the station. The hotel could be cleaner with rubbish left in the corridor overnight. I had the feeling that the staff were not very enthusiastic about their employment and the guests they looked after. Upper management needed to spend some time to look how the hotel had degraded and make sure staff enjoyed the environment that they worked in and what it meant to work in the hotel trade. It is very important to keep tables and the buffet area clean, the foyers clear of cigarette buts and corridors clear of pizza boxes and Mc Donald bags. Just these small things would bring the hotel back to its previous excellent level..

I think the staff can be a bit more helpful and maybe the right attitude to work will go a long way in making visitors feel more welcome.
The hotel is a bit dated and facilities could be better. We used the Jacuzzi and noticed it hasn’t been properly cleaned. The facilities are basic and not much to todays standards.
You also have to request to have a fridge in you room which I find a bit surprising. Most hotels nowadays have small fridges in Rooms for guests to use.
The gardens are nice and well kept and the hotel has walks close by which was a big bonus. Very good location but sadly there wasn’t a swimming pool although there’s a jacuzzi to use if you book it in.
This is a real find. It has all the feel of a proper, traditional hotel with excellent service but at very affordable prices. The staff were very friendly and attentive & helpful. I had dinner (but not breakfast) & the food was excellent and very well presented. The hotel main areas are perhaps a little dated but very well maintained and the room facilities and cleanliness were faultless. The terrace and garden feel like a 5* hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again.
Room was lovely and clean! Stunning views from the window as we were situated at front of hotel with country side views. Bathroom small but works for what you need it for. Staff was attentive on arrival and departure. I also walked with my partner around the area, quite hilly but very close to main shopping centre and restaurants. Pub across the road is very cute and convenient. Collectively a very nice last minute comfortable convenient stay for us.
We were looking for a decent place to stay over the bank holiday and we found it to be more than we initially expected. The place is clean and has all the basics we needed. The plus was the staff, everyone was super friendly, especially Jade who was an absolute gem, always willing to go an extra mile to help and making sure we had all we needed. There’s no breakfast included but in the evening we had drinks and delicious curry at the restaurant.
Comfortable bed. Quiet corridor. Room doors close quietly, so not disturbed late at night. Bathroom a good size and quiet toilet flush. Grounds are well laid out and offers lovely outdoor space to eat & drink and small play area for young children.
Food was good and presented nicely.
Excellent location, surrounded by countryside, but can easily and quickly access Redditch and Birmingham outskirts.
Nothing. It's seems to be undergoing a restoration but is the dirtiest, filthy un maintained hotel I have, in my vast experience, ever had the misfortune to stay in. It should be closed; It is entirely unsuitable.
I and my girlfriend love the Flat 9 ,and when we want to stay in Redditch, we always check the available days for it.
The host is a kind and friendly.
See you soon,
Evren and Rosie :)
What you would expect from an HIE, reliable predictable.
Clean, comfortable at a good price in a really good location, just 2 minute walk to the train station.
The hotel facade looked lovely and it was located in a quiet area. Large gardens out the back were nice to look out onto from the terrace and conservatory.
