Comfortable little escape from the real world. All you need to relax with a comfortable bed, great wee kitchen, a jacuzzi bath and nice private outdoor area. We will definitely consider returning. Has Scrabble and a few other games as well as books/DVDs for those who might wish to go offline, though for the hyper connected it has WiFi.

This was something Completely different, if you take note this is not a holiday camp or hotel you will enjoy the remoteness and the fact the view from the window becomes your new TV, Although we did not meet the host we had good communication through message service with directions etc. Also even though you are technically "off grid" you are still close to lots of places of interest. There is also a pub / restaurant a very short walk away - you WILL need a headlight or torch at night......it is very dark
Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar.

We lived in South Brent for a good many years and were there to catch up with old friends. It's a great location as it sits on the very edge of Dartmoor - so to explore the region is easy from there. On top of that it is 40 minutes from Torquay and Devon's beautiful coastline, and midway between Plymouth at one end of the A38 and Exeter at the other - both historic cities with great shopping.

A deligtful little town with good shops - even a flower shop! Good supper at the Packhorse Inn and very good room at The Station House. I travelled by train to Totnes and then short car/taxi ride to South Brent. I would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the local walks but I was attending a family funeral there and had to get home to Kent.

The trip to South Brent was made by my two friends from Worcestershire,
Peter and Margaret. Peter was taken ill on the first night of his stay, and the care and attention he received were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for him.
My friends loved their room, it was very comfortable and contained everything they needed.
My husband and I live near the hotel, and sometimes enjoy a meal there. The waitresses are so kind and considerate. We love Turtley Corn Mill, it is a really special place to spend time.

The property, while close to the A road, remains quiet and secluded. The lane next to the property offers an easy walk to a pub about 5 minutes away (a tad expensive) or South Brent village at about a 25 minutes walk, which has got all the shops, pubs that we needed. The interior is comfortable, and easily warmed with the log burner. Despite the listing saying there was no WIFI available, there was, and it ran Spotify easily. Didn't use it for anything else.
Very nice location and hotel---staff very friendly and helpful and attentive---will definitely be back again
Rooms very comfortable with very nice decor throughout the property. We went for a walk through the grounds and down by stream which was also very relaxing.
Dinner and breakfast was superb over three days
South Brent is such a lovely town! Station House is located in the historic centre and is part of the town history itself. And perfect to explore Dartmoor National Park!
It was clean and very comfy! Plus they have a very nice cafe downstairs.
The staff were friendly and the location was good for us as we were visiting friends in South Brent. The room was spacious. Our friends’ room had been renovated and was nice - if we were given that room my review would be much more positive.
Everything was very nice, location, hotel, room, comfy bed, bath & shower, tea making facilities, staff and service, cleanliness. Breakfast usual cooked English, with choices.
Everything, perfectly informal, felt very valued as a customer - Special thanks to Haley.
Hotel was spotless, service incredible, rooms comfortable, food was fantastic.
