Alan met us at the property with a warm welcome and showed us round. It is beautiful inside with everything you need and so clean! The breakfast is amazing and really sets you up for the day. Very friendly and warm welcome. Host was so helpful and made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the small double as it was literally a place to sleep for the evening whilst we were attending event in the nearby area. Room & ensuite were cosy and spotlessly clean. More than ample room for cothes if required - wardrobe/cupboard at each side of the bed and a large chest of drawers. All the facilities we needed for our stay were provided - great refreshment tray - tea, coffe, sugar, kettle & homemade shortbread. Chilled water & fresh milk were also offered on arrival and provided. The room also has a hairdryer, which was very useful. Really comfortable bed and good quality cotton bedding. Towels provided. Guest House itself is lovely and cosy and incredibly clean throughout. Breakfast was 5* - lots of choice and very easy to preorder. Quality ingredients, all local and/or homemade. Our full Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection! Would absolutely stay again if we visited the area. Host was absolutely amazing!
