Breakfast was very good but the reason for a moderately low score was that we had a roast dinner on the Sunday and it was very poor. In fact my husband actually returned his which is something he would never do

Weston super mare looks very tired, very popular though for families but parking is a nightmare, at the time of our visit it was busy and very noisy with motor bikes, and loud music blaring out everywhere the pier opened late but closed early nicest place to eat was bistrot Pierre

I am 71 and came from Bristol. Sunday school outings always went to Weston. My parents and brother all ended up living at Carlton Mansions next door to the Grand Atlantic.
I love returning to Weston and spending time on the beach.

Weston super Mare is an old fashioned seaside resort trying hard to keep itself attractive. The renovated pier has offers amusements and cafes and the derelict old pier adds character. There is a sandy beach but at low tide there is a lot of mud between that and the sea. The marine pool is interesting. There is pleasant walking on the nearby headlands Worlebury to the north and Brean Down, a short drive to the south. There are plenty of places to eat - we went to a great Italian place called Il Michelangelo.

Great.
Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees.
Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.

The location is great for walking to the beach, restaurants, bars, and other attractions in Weston-super-Mare. The staff is very nice, and the proprietor even got up early on our last morning to fix us breakfast before we left for the airport. Breakfast each morning was based on our personal requests and was fresh and tasty.
This is a place I would like to recommend and return to if I visit Weston-super-Mare again. The proprietors just need to be more attentive to cleanliness.
Fantastic location on seafront. Very clean and comfortable room. The bed was lovely and there was a good hot shower. I had everything I needed for my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was given great recommendations for dining out as the hotel kitchen was closed due to the chef being off sick. I would have loved to have tried the breakfast as the hotel has a fantastic reputation for breakfast. I can't reccomend it more highly.
Its a lovely old building and our room was at the front of the hotel so we had a nice view of the beach/sea. The location is great beach directly opposite and the town a short walk away. All the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was typical 'english breakfast' good for the regular client and they were able to accommodate my sisters dietary requirement of gluten free items (she is coeliac)
The location is right on the seafront. Room was spotless, bed was nice. They advertise parking near by at £6 for 24 hours, the council car park nearby is £12 for 24 hours. But if you look behind the hotel and can drive to one of the roads behind you will find free parking on roadside for free, withington a 5 minute walk back to the hotel. So we had , not only, a great time, we also had free parking!!
Very helpful and courteous staff who were always on hand if needed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the public rooms were well furnished and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in walking distance of the shops, the seafront and other amenities. Free parking was available both off and on road. Should we return to Weston we would book again.
great older property.. nice and comfortable.. out of town along the seafront… so a lovely walk in .. definitely have a sea view room and listen to the sea with no traffic noise… it’s not the premier inn .. it’s a good old fashioned English seaside hotel. staff were nice and friendly.

Comfortable bed
Only problem breakfast was cold even tho a buffet and was first in the room before it came out bacon still looked raw.....
II would stay aging but not with my children as we was woken up 3 times during the night with druken hotel guest.
The room was very well appointed, good bathroom. Breakfast was very good & provided early as we had a meeting to attend. This was very kind & greatly appreciated.
The hotel was recommended to us & we will recommend it to others.
I liked the location, being right on the seafront! It was lovely to go for an evening walk on the beach. This hotel is also close to various nature walks. The other positive is the food in the restaurant.
The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We could make tea in the room and biscuits were a welcome treat. walking distance to the seafront and restaurants/pubs.
Upgrade to sea view on arrival - excellent buffet breakfast (hot) always loved this hotel - nice refurb taking place in the rooms- friendly bar area overlooking the seafront - great staff
