We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

We loved the hospitality. The Cedar Manor is family run and it really shows as the hosts take pride in their home. Breakfast was fabulous. Cedar Manor is within a very easy walk to many of the finest restaurants. We will definitely be back. Very nice stay.

Our stay at High Grassings, Lake District Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of magical. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts.
