This was a hidden gem in Devon's countryside. Our family immediately feel in love with the place on arrival. Kerry and Nicola were excellent hosts and made us felt very much at home.

Set in 14 acres of outstanding natural beauty, this country house bed and breadkfast with cottages and a heated outdoor pool offers a relaxed atmosphere, professional service and luxurious... Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!

In a peaceful, secluded valley on the outskirts of Ilfracombe and convenient for Woolacombe, this splendid 18th-century country house is surrounded by gardens, woodland and streams. Donna and Paul are exceptional hosts. Their service and attention to details were gold standard. They have both been through a trying period of their lives yet their concern for our comfort and enjoyment of the property and facilities were without fault. We can recommend to anyone considering staying at Score Valley Country House to book without hesitation. The property is located in a picture perfect valley and has more than enough parking to accommodate guests.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing time with excellent food. The hotel is set within beautiful Dartmoor park with Haytor in the distance. We enjoyed really amazing food in the dining room for both breakfast and dinner, and and a relaxing bottle of wine in the lounge. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The price is a really great value.

Beachborough Country House features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Barnstaple, 32 km from Lundy Island. Everything. Amy and the family met us on arrival. Booked 2 rooms for our family holiday. We used our large apartment as the base retiring to our own rooms at the end of the evening. Thank you for the eggs, milk and lovely bottle of wine. A perfect few days away.

Elsie is beautiful..and the bed is super comfy! Our lovely continental breakfast this morning was full of goodies..we will definitely be returning!

Serenity Estate, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Berrynarbor, 34 km from Lundy Island, 35 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club, as well as 35 km from Westward Ho!. Really friendly and nice owners who made us feel very welcome . Amazing location, with a beautiful big garden with outdoor seating and playing outdoor games and with a BBQ Which we used.

This Grade II* listed property offers a separate self-catering one-bedroom cottage within the 16th Century thatched farmstead. We didn't have breakfast. Everything was fine. Host was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
