Queens Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

Queens Hotel is located on Eastbourne’s seafront and looking onto the pier. This Victorian seaside hotel features 2 restaurants, a sun lounge and a bar offering evening entertainment.

We stayed here at short notice due to another location cancelling our reservation at the last minute (Boutique Nights - don't book it). As a result this was not our preferred location or hotel type. That said, the hotel is right on the sea front by the pier, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We booked a small double room as we only needed somewhere to sleep. The room was made up for one person but we were two, so we had to ask for extra towels, mugs etc, which were provided immediately upon request. We had room only so cannot comment on the breakfast or meals in general. It is a big old fashioned hotel which from our one night there caters mainly for pensioners on holiday. It offers evening entertainment and bingo.

Lovely, well appointed room with beautiful sea view. The hotel has stood the test of time well. It stands out from many of the seafront properties, is well maintained and decorated. Staff are friendly and professional. Location is a short walk to the east of the pier - far enough to not be bothered by any evening revellers but close enough to feel part of the ambiance. Bar snacks available as well as the restaurant and a nice choice for breakfast. Wheelchair access and lift available if needed.

Lovely feel to hotel, everyone so friendly from reception, catering staff & housekeeping. Lovely location for seafront. Fantastic breakfast & also a good tea tray in room which included biscuits & hot chocolate. Beds very comfortable. As we come from Eastbourne & was visiting friends, we know that it is a little way from restaurants / places to eat if dont want to eat at hotel. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast at the moment but they can provide a really excellent bag with croissants, yoghurt, butter jam etc. at the reception. I liked the room decor which retained some original features with modern lighting. Loved the fish wallpaper on the feature wall. Also, they give you a handy map of nearby restaurants (with discount vouchers).
