Charming and delightful property. Perfect for ferry,5 mins, and walking distance to Sailing Club who serve beer and food. Room was lovely and nice to see a teapot with tea and coffee facilities. Shower was great and room nice and quiet. Carole was lovely and made me feel very welcome. Will stay again if I’m this way again.

The pod was equipped with all we needed for our 2-night stay. Our outside area was well furnished too. Loved the peace and quiet, the views, birds singing.

The owned is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here as we had just got off the ferry from Ireland and didn’t want to dive but want a good night’s rest. The B &B has its own restaurant and I highly recommend it. There has not been many places in the UK I would recommend to eat but this is one!
The town doesn’t offer much apart from
Barbershops and takeaway.
The property looked great, in a great location. The Garden Room is suitable as an extra bedroom for the main house, but was far too small with only limited facilities for an independent stay of more that one night.

I've only ever travelled through Holyhead en route from Ireland to the UK and back, but I walked around the town a bit with my dog on this trip, and the area around the B&B was nice enough. Beyond that I really can't say as yet, but I'll definitely return.

Not much in the Pier area, very residential.
Not much in the Pier area, very residential. Expect to walk a lot, crossed bridge to City Center for the amenities we were looking for, food & historic sites. 2 days were enough to stay before heading to Dublin on the Ferry.

booked in holyhead purely to meet friends off a cruise ship.
booked in holyhead purely to meet friends off a cruise ship. holyhead itself has little to nothing to offer tourists but as a base to visit other parts of Anglesey its fine. holyhead seems like its been abandoned by the council and needs money spending on it, all the locals we met were lovely and they deserve more.
Thuyen, the owner, was very very nice and helpful. I had problems with my train connection to Holyhead and arrived in the middle of the night. The breakfast was yummy, the room was cosy, everything was very enjoyable. For midday menu here exists a korean menu.
The hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes (by foot) away from the trainstation, it´s uphill to go the hotel (but downhill to go back to the trainstation :)), so if you go by foot and have havy bags you should think about that.
Have a nice stay at Orient B+B!
The Edinburgh Castle is ideally located for people coming to Holyhead by train or bus--it's right outside both the train station and ferry terminal. It is convenient to shops and the waterfront. The rooms were basic but the beds were comfy and the shower was great, which is all you really need unless you're staying in a destination resort. There were good choices for breakfast and you had the option of eating in the pub if you so desired. The staff was cheerful and helpful.
Everything was great. The location is magnificent. View of the ocean from the pod.
I had troubles with my service and couldn't go to booking to double check the instructions or call the host Sue. But she was so patient and understandable and made sure we know how to find the pods. Thank you!
Awesome stay. I only wish we were staying for more than one night. But hopefully soon!
Perfect spot to explore Anglesey from!
The room was easy to find, the staff was very helpful in assisting me arriving very late (past midnight) to enter my room. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, with all the amenities you would expect in a hotel. There was plenty of choice for breakfast provided in the room, which allowed me to leave quickly to get to Folkstone to take the eurotunnel.
The room and bathroom were spotless and kay the host went ubove and beyound to make our stay perfect even coming to find us when we were lost. I would highly recomend staying here.and the location is only 5 minutes from holyhead port, perfect for hoping the ferry to Ireland.
I am from America and am hiking the Wales Coastal Path. I have stayed at several places during my visit and The Haven is by far the best. The room was clean and fresh. The owners paid attention to details that make the room comfortable. I highly recommend it.
The room was very clean, had a convenient location and the most important thing was that the man who ran the hotel was above and beyond helpful with my taxi rides. I am very grateful for the stay and for the help. Thank you!
Everything about my stay at this property was first class. Even though not included as part of the package, the hosts provided us with towels during our stay at no extra cost. A perfect location for the Holyhead Ferry Port.
Carole was a great host. When I asked about booking a taxi to get to the ferry port, Carole offered to drive me herself! The breakfast was cooked to order and very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location.
It was clean and comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Within walking distance of Holyhead harbour and south stack. A good base for anyone wanting to explore Holy island.
Close walk to city center and transportation systems. Host did a good job helping to find the place, it could have been confusing without her help. Bathroom was good size, shower was good.
The proximity to the ferry was my chief concern when booking and it did live up to that – could see the ferry/port basically across the street so there was little chance of being late.
Its very close to Holyhead port, perfect for us after a tiring overnight ferry. It was simple to get in and very clean. Claire the host communicated with us very well.
