The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.
The fact that is was dog friendly.
The staff were all very nice and couldn't do enough for you. Our room was bright and clean. The menu in the bar was limited but the food was delicious. Breakfast was lovely everything was fresh and warm. Excellent location for beaches, and if you don't want to drive to Fort William or Mallaig then the train station is just accross the road.
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
Location was good .. Hotel a little tired but has had some renovations. Staff and management are trying really
Hard and could not be faulted. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel with both meals exceeding expectations.. a good 3 star hotel
Gorgeous location on the coast of Scotland. We were able to walk to Loch Morar, and down to the beach. It was only a 5 minute drive to the ferry, to continue our journey on to the Isle of Skye. The lobby decor and dining room are very nice.
The location was excellent, rooms were spacious and clean, friendly staff. Meal choice was limited as it was the bar menu and not restaurant menu. Evening meal was served in the bar which was a bit cramped. Good choice for breakfast
All the hotel staff were very helpful, especially the restaurant staff who were very attentive and constantly smiling.
The restaurant meals were excellent, with a very varied menu and good value.
The only dog friendly place available on the night we just had to pass through Mallaig.
Friendly staff!!
Near Beach and railway station.
Looks like it has some history.
Wonderful beach views.
The hotel is located on a beautiful loch with mountains surrounding it. Truly an astonishing view. So serene and peaceful. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice.
very cozy and nice hotel with delicious food options for dinner (I can totally recommend Scottish pie), friendly staff and perfect views! I would stay there again with pleasure!
What a great hotel ; good to compare with the awful west highland hotel in mallaig . Same price different vibe and attitude resulting in a wonderful experience in morar .
Hotel situated in a beautiful area , very friendly and polite staff . Good parking, food was ok a little pricey, drinks were expensive . overall disappointed
The hotel is in a great location, situated opposite the railway station, and near a beach. with great views over Rum.
The restaurant staff were excellent.
Can't answer this as we didn't actually stay. The hotel was so bad that I left and drove 3.5 hours home instead of staying. As such cannot give example
