Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

We traveled 4000 miles to be with family for a holiday, and found ourselves very comfortable, with plenty of room, enjoying amazing views, and in a great location! The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

The kitchen is also very well equipped and even some beach toys provided for the children.

The apartment was clean and well managed. The location is right off the Portobello beach which is a great place for a stroll, cup of coffee, bite to eat, etc. Easy bus ride into Edinburgh Old Town. Would highly recommend if you want a place to stay that is a more peaceful and less crowded than central Edinburgh.

Same block as the beach... it doesn't get much better than that! Being in a first-floor flat was also good for us, and we were thrilled with all of the kid friendly amenities. The books, toys, kid potty seat, and indoor swing were all huge hits with our kids (4 and 2) and made our stay all the more pleasant.

This was a lovely home away from home - warm and quiet, with character, a great shower, modern kitchen, and a super comfy bed (the couch is great too!). So close to the beach and attractions there, with bus transport just a few mins' walk away (also close enough to the city to Taxi or Uber if preferred). Overall, the perfect retreat after a day's exploration around Edinburgh - somewhere to get warm and dry and recharge for the next day🙌
