Excellent inn with very spacious rooms - biggest rooms we had all trip. We enjoyed eating dinner at their pub as well, and breakfast was included. Ample parking and they were also next to a petrol station and a McDonalds - off a main highway but we found the inn to and our rooms to be quiet and still felt like we were staying in a British inn with the style of the building, so it kept a nice ambiance.

We had an amazing stay. Probably the best B & B we have stayed in. Perfect friendly hosts who welcomed us like friends and a great breakfast. Definately stay again.

Warm, welcoming, and friendly, with well-appointed rooms - the bed was particularly comfortable - well deserving of its '10 rating' on Booking.com. The Oronsay has parking, and is very close to the town centre - an excellent location! If we're in Alnwick again, we'll definitely stay at the Oronsay.

A lovely little guest house within 5 minutes walk of Alnwick Castle. The host Jo is wonderful, she's full of great ideas and information about the surrounding area which made our time in Alnwick a much richer experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable and free parking too.

The lady guest house owner and son were just so lovely and helpful as were all the staff, making sure my parents were well looked after and we knew of all the best places to visit locally e.g. Howick Hall and Craster. The guesthouse is spotless, tastefullydecorated, quiet and cosy and the large guest lounge has beautiful views out to river Aln. We are already talking about a return trip.
