The Black Horse is a little gem, I rate this with any 5 star hotel any where in the world and in some ways even better, the location was beautiful, the staff friendly and the food was delicious and of a very high standard.

Lovely touches like the iron, hairdryer and a fan in the room were very welcome. Tea and coffee provided and a chocolate on the bed was a sweet gesture. We ate dinner that evening and the food was delicious. Breakfast which was ordered the evening before was also very good. Full English, cereals, yogurt and toast and jams were also available. Very friendly host. & lovely dogs etc Charming situation, with great resources for both people staying in cottages and fab facilities for the campsite. (Loved the idea of the lending scheme, even though we didn't actually use it. It meant the cottages were kept tidy, but we could access anything more we needed)
