We had the most wonderful help from Bernard and Michelle,they really were u believably helpful and made our stay so great!! They really make this bandb special!! Thank you both so much for keeping our bike!!! So stressful foe us, but u helped us out.

Victorian era property set in Bowness-on-Windermere, a 10 minute walk from the edge of Lake Windermere. Each room has an ensuite bathroom, free WIFI, a TV and drink making facilities.

The location is amazing as it is so close to the lake and it is easy to travel to other attractions. The on-site parking is a plus especially in a busy tourist location with limited public parking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

First time in UK and first time in Windermere. My wife and I stayed in 5 different hotels in UK during our 2 weeks in UK. This is our top 1. We spent 1 night here. Breakfast is awesome with really good taste and a variety of choices. Room is nice, host is a very nice person. Everything is so good and we will definitely come back and stay here again if we visit Windermere again in the future.

In Bowness village, a 10-minute walk from Lake Windermere, this award-winning Victorian guest house still retains many of its original features.

Clare and Robert were amazing hosts, very attentive and readily giving advice on the region. The location is very good only 10 minutes walking distance from the center and several restaurants while still being very quiet. The best part was the breakfast which you could select each evening from various options. The rooms are super clean and I slept very well in the comfy beds
