Exceptional. The location worked well for me - a c. 10 quid taxi ride into Canterbury - had plenty of parking room. There was a forest to explore and pigs to see. It was really beautiful and peaceful! The host was wonderful and welcoming and made a fantastic full English breakfast to order in the morning (plus, there was cereal, etc.). The room was comfortable and modern and everything worked like it should! Would highly recommend.

The friendliness of the staff was just one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with a great range of choice between cooked and continental. The room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The shower is a proper walk-in shower and not over a bath, which for us was a much appreciated bonus. It was within easy walking distance to the city centre, Canterbury Cathedral and the bus terminal.

Very spacious and clean house right next to city center. We had coffee and tea from the house in the kitchen which was very nice, comfortable and tasty to be able to drink it in the morning. A delightful old pub close to the city centre and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stour remain alongside the pub.

The hotel consists of 11 en suite bedrooms including a honeymoon suite complete with a spa bath and a family room. The cosy bar and restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a drink from the local brewery. The hotel is graded 4 stars with the English Tourist Board.
