We booked here as was dog friendly and for a surprise visit to the grandchildren and was excellent value for money. Bed comfortable didn't want to leave it! . Was greeted with a lovely cuppa on arrival Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, juice, and full English with pastries and yoghurts. Hosts were great and nothing too much trouble . Already said we will be back. Loved the old feel to it with wooden beams. Cute and quaint. Lovely river walk nearby for the dog too.

It is a charming old building, and we were lucky to have the suite (a separate sitting room and a four-poster bed). The breakfast is served in the old tea room itself: fresh fruit, full English cooked (or as required). Debbie is a fun hostess, with lots of stories about the history of the town.
