Gable Lodge was a wonderful place to stay in Lynton. The house was exceptionally clean, the room comfortable, and the owners so friendly and nice. The breakfast was delicious with many choices and an evening meal was also offered here. Just a short walk and we were into the main part of town with many shops and places to eat.

location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.

Super location and parking - the location is superb - everything is within easy walking distance and the there was ample on site parking with CCTV security. Our bed was bigger than a double, which was a bonus and it was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the cliff railway. Even though the hotel is on the main road it's very quiet at night and we slept really well. I would recommend the fresh fruit salad with natural yogurt for breakfast. Good hosts, particularly Jane who is very friendly.
