Maria is an absolute delight! She is always engaging with the guests trying to make them feel at home, at least that's what it felt like to me. The house is cozy and warm, and the pets are around the house, so it does feel like another day with the family. The breakfast was delicious and listening to the story of the house was wonderful.

Gable Lodge was perfect! The rooms were very clean, smelled nice and a good size. The bathroom were also nice and also very clean. There were also some lovely toiletries and overall the rooms were 10/10

Beautiful quaint place up on the hill with stunning views. Run by a sweet couple who could not have been more welcoming and warm. Beautiful spacious room and comfortable bed.

Excellent location, magnificent views. The owners have gone the extra mile for guests to feel special - homemade bread, muesli, marmelades for breakfast. Very comfortable beds, extremely friendly, yet discreet owners. Quiet and intimate hotel. If we ever visit this part of UK again, we will definitely be staying there again.

Amazing location, perfect to explore the area from. Great value for money, breakfast was awesome and the whole experience was just brilliant! Friendly and welcoming host, you can feel the heart and soul of the place the entire time you are there. location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.
