The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). The Sandfield Guest House is lovely place and excellent to stay in Oxford. Free Wi-fi, clean and very comfortable room. In my opinion 10/10. Sandfield is located on a main road leading into Oxford, making getting into the city by bus very easy. Of course you can also walk to the centre - only 20 minutes. I stayed in the single room, which was comfortable and had a nice private bathroom accessible on the floor. Paul, the owner, is wonderful man. He welcomed me personally and explain everything to me in detail. I would recommend to my friends, and maybe I will come back here in near future:-)))

The location is perfect, 10-15 minutes walking distance from the town center, with a bus stop just opposite the property. The free carpark is definitely a bonus. The man at the reception was very helpful and nice.

Super clean everywhere, spacious common area and fully equipped kitchen(which was not mentioned in the ad but was a pleasant surprise). There's also a table in the garden,must be really nice to use it during summer.

Really excellent. You get a detatched seperate area all to your self, including bath room and kitchen. You can also control the heating all by yourself. Milk, tea and coffee was kindly provided, as well as a dedicated parking space :)
