The property was just fabulous. Although located on a main road and outside a roundabout there was no need to be concerned. There was no noise whatsoever. Instructions on how to enter the property was provided and was easy to follow. The facilities were outstanding, clean and comfortable and a really good night's sleep was obtained. We travelled by bus from Whitehaven to the property which again, was simple, straight forward and easy to find. For next year, this will be the FIRST location we will choose. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Walking the Coast to Coast trail, couldn't find accom closer to the trail. Settled for this Off-Trail (4 km) premises hoping for the best. It was beautiful and the host, Jules, could not have been a better host. We had some probs earlier in the day so Jules helped us out with an extra fold out bed, gave us all the local info and next day when we were heading back to the trail, gave us a much appreciated lift in to Ennerdale to pick up the trail. Thanks Jules for a beautiful, peaceful stay. Thouroughly recommended.
