Everything went well, from the first pint of Butty Bach when we arrived, the excellent breakfasts and the man who helped us with getting our luggage to the car. The place itself was quite charming and well situated in the town.

The Bowling Green Inn is peacefully located in between fields. Upon arrival you are welcomed and provided with all necessary info. Diner was exceptionally good and tastefull! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, We spend only 1 night there but it was just perfect! A place I definately recommend.

Though in the city centre we found the apartment quiet. It was spotlessly clean There was plenty of space which was much appreciated. The host was really helpful as we had problems with the key code (nobody's fault) a computer/i phone glitch which was quickly resolved. parking nearby was free but places were limited, however public car parks were not too far away. Coming by rail would be convenient too.

The room was comfortable for what we needed it for. It was hot while we were there, luckily there was a fan in the room which helped us stay cooler! Beautifully furnished and decorated, with a lovely conservatory dining room sympathetic to the period of the building. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Great location by a riverside walk for very easy and pleasant access to the city centre (via steps), and lovely gardens for enjoying a drink or dinner while watching the swans in their river sanctuary.
