Such a beautiful, picturesque place to stay with lovely scenery and a quaint relaxing atmosphere that really made it feel like a home away from home. Darren was an incredible host and exceptionally friendly. I definitely intend to stay here the next time I'm visiting Newcastle.

Set within 46 km of The Belfast Empire Music Hall and 47 km of The Waterfront Hall in Ardglass, Burford Lodge Guest House provides accommodation with seating area. Sarah and Ann Marie were exceptionally friendly and immediately solved any problem we had, Sarah let me use her cell phone to make calls when mine was having issues. The food was perfect. Our spacious room over looked the harbor in Ardglass, the sunrise was stunning. It was a beautiful, quiet place to spend a couple nights.

Clenaghans features self-catering suites, which have been converted from old farm buildings. Ample space for 2 people. Our apartment (Hazel) had a big living room with 2 sofas and huge window looking out into courtyard. Loved the low ceilings - I'm 5'4" and could reach the ceilings in every room. If you're into stainless steel and white tiles then this is not for you. It's rustic with stone floors and panelled or stone walls. Full of character and extremely clean and warm. Kitchen has literally everything you could need including milk, bread, cooking oil, ingredients for a cooked breakfast, juice, cheese - we couldn't think of anything that wasn't there. We stayed on a Thurs night and there was a traditional Irish music session in the bar/restaurant which was amazing. The restaurant has the same name but is a separate business although the buildings are attached to one another. The music was incredible with fiddle player, a guitarist who also sang, an accordion player and the 4th guy played the uilleann pipes. The food was wonderful and even the house red was delicious.

The Cuan Boutique Hotel is a family-run guest inn with good food and rooms with a digital TV and free internet. Excellent breakfast. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, in the center of the village and close to the ferry.

Shelleven Guest House is a Victorian property with great charm and period features throughout, providing luxurious accommodation and dining in a warm relaxed atmosphere. Great location, warm welcome, great food and facilities.

Cairn Bay Lodge er omgitt av vidstrakte hager med utsikt mot Ballyholme Beach. Villaen er ideell for besøk til Belfast og halvøya Ards. Hver rom med eget bad er møblert med antikke og moderne møbler. I had a seaview room which was glorious. I had coffees, teas, hot chocolates and a little penguin and some tayto crisps waiting for me on arrival. There were shampoos, conditioners and beautifully scented body washes too. I didn't expect breakfast to be included but the home made granola, fresh coffee and orange juice were just amazing and the setting, second to none.
