Our stay in the Ricky road house was simply excellent. Marek is exceptionaly friendly and helpful with an abudance of tips. What trains to take where to go out and so much more. He made us feel welcome there and even prepared wine for us when we arrived. Room was clean and spacieous with a large king size bed.

Heather's Lodge is a guesthouse offering accommodation in Cheshunt. This 5-star guest house offers free WiFi. Some units at the property include a terrace with a garden view. It’s away from the busy city of London and has a lot of stores and parks nearby (about 10 minute walks). The inside is beautifully decorated and there’s a big space to park 2 vehicles outside. The train/tube isn’t far either, only a 20 minute walk. Overall it’s a great location. Heather is a lovely host and checks to see if you’re doing good. She also has cereal, coffee, and tea in the room as well.

The apartment was lovely and modern and in a great location. There was a slight hiccup at check-in but Jordan and his team leapt into action and solved the problem within minutes, very courteous and apologetic and really helpful. Never judge someone on a problem, judge them on how they put it right, and I couldn't fault them. Would book again without a second thought.

In the small village of Sheering, this family run Public House offers 12 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Inn is a family run free house that has been run by the Bedford family for over 20 years. Staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were excellent and the food was really good

In the pretty Hertfordshire village of Wadesmill, this beautifully preserved 17th-century coaching inn combines modern comforts with original features. The place was fantastic, we stay at this location for our friends wedding, we arrived quite late and Ross at the reception was fantastic and welcoming, there was a little confusion with the rooms but that was resolved quickly and efficiently, will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Ware again in the future and good luck to your travels Ross

Dating back to the 18th century and set in a picturesque location overlooking Chipperfield Common, this countryside retreat exudes character and charm. The hotel was truly home from home. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, welcoming staff. The food was excellent and value for money. Our room was spacious, the bed huge and it was great to have a sofa to sit on and watch tv rather than the bed.

The price was excellent value. The owner gave great communication with regards how to get to the location and how to access room keys etc. The location was perfect for a trip to Warner Bros Studios. We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of toilet paper and I liked the fact there was a microwave, kettle, mini fridge and tea and coffee in the rooms. The addition of an ironing board and towels was also appreciated. Bed linen was clean and the overall look of the room was modern and of a decent standard.

Situated in Harpenden, a 10-minute drive from Luton Airport, The Old Cock Inn features free WiFi. The M1 is a short drive away and offers access to central London in less than an hour. The rooms were fabulous so clean and probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in when traveling, the bathroom was amazing modern clean and the bath and shower had loads of hot water and great water pressure.
