Loved the fireplace!! Good value for money and had a lovely surprise with bits of food left for us which was an added bonus!! Only a short walk to the river!! Very close to the train station too if you’re interested going into Newcastle only 30 mins away!! Overall loved our stay!!

Free parking was great and the owner was attentive and amazing. Would definitely stay again!

I liked the size of the place, it didn’t look very big from the outside but when you got inside it really opened out to a beautifully decorated, well looked after clean lovely home, wish we’d have stayed longer, the facilities were fabulous, my car was safely tucked away in the back courtyard with own metal shutters with a fob to easily shut them, lovely bedrooms and kitchen, the host kindly left tea coffee, milk and beers very thoughtful. The friendliness of Laura the host was outstanding and the cleanliness of the cottage was lovely
