Another good stay, since my last stay the room layout in room 2 has changed meaning the bedside lamp & a plug socket is more useable (although at the minor cost of the radiator control being a bit hard to reach). Quiet room and comfy bed.

Bonus fridge in the room. The pub is also great, the bar staff are lovely, perfect cider on tap after a long drive. Welcomed my dog and made a fuss of him. I would highly recommend this place if you have a dog, really hard to come by a lovely pub, somewhere to stay that also love dogs and don't charge you more for having one.

The pub was great, unfortunately I arrived late and missed the kitchen (food others were just finishing looked great) but the locals were all very friendly and the beers were good, I don't normally sit in a bar on my own when travelling because I feel out of place, not here, more than happy to sit in the bar and chat. Will stay again if in the area.
