The hosts provided very clear instructions for entering the property. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge and storage space for clothes. There was a huge bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towel hooks, plus shampoo and shower gel. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was easy to control. It was exactly what I was looking for in a picturesque place with canals, pubs and cafes nearby. There are lovely areas to walk around, including the dam and surrounding forest, and the canals. I arrived by bus and left by taxi, and I found it simple enough to move around without using a car.

This is the second time staying here. It's so peaceful and the breakfast provided in the room is very nice. The little table and chairs outside is perfect for a glass of wine. Very comfy bed. One night at this guesthouse was amazing! Owners were so friendly and welcoming, and were always available. The room, although small, was really clean and cozy, making it comfortable. And backyard! It was absolutely amazing and provided the perfect escape from the noise of the city and free parking is there. The area was ideal for a relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Owner of the place is super friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious and custom made.

This guest house is situated in the cathedral city of Chester, 1 mile from the picturesque centre. There are frequent buses available on Hoole Road, reaching the city centre in 8 minutes. Hosts were great. I felt at home right away. Nice breakfast in the morning.
