Great House Guest House, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Llantwit Major, 2.8 km from Tresilian Bay Beach, 29 km from Cardiff Castle, as well as 30 km from Principality... The location of the Great House is perfect, and is one of the reasons I picked it. It is a unique historical building and has an atmospheric charm; such a refreshing change from so much accommodation. There is easy access to Cardiff by train and the station is only a short walk away. Llantwit has a lovely rocky beach which is only a relatively short walk away and the countryside around Llantwit is well worth exploring. It is a village with a great community feeling and everything you could hope to find in a small place. The breakfast offered at the Great House is tailored to the needs of the guests and is a great start to an active day. Also excellent WiFi which one doesn't necessarily get in that sort of a location. I have been lucky enough to travel the world a great deal and have stayed in a great variety of accommodation and I would very rarely give such high praise.

Featuring free WiFi, James' Place at Brynawel offers accommodation in Merthyr Tydfil. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. We couldn't asked for a better place to stay, warming studio with very comfy bed and the view from our windows were amazing. There's plenty of shops/pubs within 10min walk from James place. We forgot to thank you for the lovely Wales cakes James. We certainly coming back!!! It was perfect! Highly recommended. Thank you so much James& family.

Situated in Porthcawl and only 1.5 km from Sandy Bay Beach, Newton Cottage features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Newton Cottage way exceeded our expectations. Very conveniently located in relation to the friends that we were visiting in Porthcawl. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We loved it that our hosts, Jane and Jonathan treated their guests like family. Very engaging but also respectful of privacy. We fully expect to return :)

Studios At Glenthorne is just 15 minutes’ walk from Merthyr Tydfil Railway Station. These family-run, self-catering studios are set in a Victorian townhouse. Claire was a wonderful host. our washer didn’t work and she did the washing in her machine and dried it also. perfect hosts beautiful rooms. clean facilities. this is truly an exceptional stay. thank you lyn and Barry

The Mirador is a truly unique guest house with cosmopolitan décor, each room portraying themes such as Roman, Egyptian or Oriental. Central Swansea can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. Lovely space, lavished with great food. The host went above and beyond to make an exceptional experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.

Located in Neath, 48 km from Cardiff, Cwmbach Guest House features free WiFi access and free private parking. The location was so beautiful.

On the seafront in Mumbles, with spectacular sea views of Swansea Bay, this small, charming, family-run guest house prides itself on its comfortable accommodation and tasty breakfasts. Nestling within 2 acres of heritage parkland and close to magnificent beaches, this guest house enjoys a superb location, with the River Ewenny flowing through its grounds. An outstanding B&B that was comfortable, friendly and a good value.
