The lovely personal touches(the sheep items)plus loved the themed halloween mugs..hamper was nice,plenty of hot drink choices and a big bottle of water which was great.Lovely little village,good pubs and walks.

Kingscroft is situated in Buxton, less than 1 km from Buxton Opera House, 25 km from Chatsworth House, and 29 km from Capesthorne Hall. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has family rooms. Kingscroft is a wonderful place to visit by itself, given the fascinating decor and charismatic hosts. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and the facilities clean. We had a great nights sleep. The pre-ordered breakfasts offered a wide selection of cold and hot breakfast items, highly adjustable to one's preferences. The hosts further provided us with recommendations of local restaurants and activities.
Stalybridge

Alan contacted us by text day of arrival to confirm time and was the perfect host when we got there. The room was lovely, wonderfully clean and spacious and a view of Peveril Castle! We were given privacy whilst it was made clear we could approach any time for any need. Perfect.

The bed was so comfortable and the house cool and peaceful. Parking and access to the University was easy. I also enjoyed an evening meal. It was a restful stay after a busy working week with lots of driving.

Location is perfect in centre of Hathersage. Room was bright and clean with very comfortable beds, and nice and cosy with heating on when we arrived. Good atmosphere in pub in the evening with friendly barman/locals.

Cosy, bijoux room with everything you could possibly wish for. Love the oriental furnishings in the room, super comfy bed and snuggly duvet and the bathroom is fabulous. Stacey is a lovely host, nothing is too much trouble and Miles the cat is cute from a distance! Less than a 10 minute walk into town, on street parking where able - perfect. Will definitely be back to stay for another Picturedrome gig.

Gorgeous dog friendly country pub with an open fire, a great selection of drinks, the friendliest staff that can't do enough for you.. and some lovely and kind locals. We felt like one of them! Although we didn't eat due to time, the food looked and smelt incredible. Lots of parking.. and the garden area looked great for the summer too!
We loved the friendly staff and the locals.The food was amazing. Everybody welcomed us in and was more than willing to share their expertise on where we should visit.We used the Pebley Inn as our base to explore the Derby Dales and the Peak District
A wonderful location and cottage. It was incredibly well stocked, and we very much enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise! It felt like a home away from home stay. Martin was a fab host and incredibly helpful, and responded to texts promptly when we had questions which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
