Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Room had all the basic amenities and more..ex tea bags, electric kettle, toiletries. Wifi and AC worked great. It also had a shared drawing/lounge room and kitchen that we could use.

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. The location of the hotel is on the main street in Palolem, parallel to the beach; there are a lot of beach accesses from the street, so you´re practically at a 2-min walk from the sand, it is very comfortable. In my opinion the location is better than staying in those hotels on the beach, it´s more quiet. Room size is bigger than displayed in the photos; the toilet is small, the shower area is actually between the sink and WC, but we got used to it quickly. The owners are friendly and helpful, they are there whenever you need them, even arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. Good value for money!

The service here is exceptional. The owner goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of his guests--one of the most accommodating guest houses I've ever stayed in. The location is great as well. It is close to the beach and a few minute drive to the airport. There are also exceptional restaurants only a few steps away and the neighborhood is quite and friendly. I would most definitely stay here again!

Nastanitev Ruban Yoga Eco Resort Palolem je v mestu Palolem, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Palolem, in ponuja vrt ter pogled na vrt. Ruban is an excellent host and is taking care to contribute positively to the environment and community in Palolem both through his Eco development (which are good value for money) and his yoga teachings. I really enjoyed my stay here, I was worried about not having AC initially but the fan was fine as the temperature drops at night. I enjoyed the ease of waking up and taking only a few steps to the yoga shala to practice an Ashtanga style class lead by Ruban. His wife also makes amazing tea! The location is perfect, it’s literally on the beach (as in you are walking in sand) and a 2minute walk to the ocean, in fact you can hear the ocean at night without the fan on.

Fantastic Family run this very well renovated home stay. The rooms are very new, modern, comfy very big beds, lovely new bathrooms and very very clean. Kettle and some rooms have kitchen and fridge. Roof terrace for sitting and drying clothes. Perfect stay and beautiful lovely owners. Across the road fantastic snack bar called Lax Food, very clean and again lovely friendly owners and staff.

Pranali and Mohit were wonderful hosts, we felt welcomed and very much at home. The house they have built in traditional Portuguese style is stunning and a credit to them. The gardens are beautiful and breakfast in the gazebo in the mornings, lovely. Pranali is a very good cook and we had home cooked traditional Indian breakfast each morning. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony was a nice place to sit in the shade reading in the afternoon. They have three very friendly dogs who wag their tails and greet you like a long lost friend every time you come back. Just magical and we would most definitely recommend and return.
