It was a lovely place, fantastic harbour views from our room.We had a quad room. The bathrooms were not ensuite but in front of our rooms accessible only by us,clean and convenient. The staff was polite ,very helpful. The lounge and dining area was comfortable with a kettle and coffee and tea bags provided, and cutlery crockery too. They have a nice restaurant next door.

Facing the seafront in Kyleakin, Skye Backpackers features barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden and a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and private parking are available at the hostel.

Everything was neat and tidy, especially the kitchen. The bed was not as comfy as the one I had last year at Pitlochry Backpackers - this is relevant because they are part of the same organization. Did appreciate having two pillows though as at Pit. The breakfast was a good value at 3.50 sterling

I've stayed at a few Backpackers hostels so I know what to expect. For the solo traveller who works outdoors, I always find the accommodation to be satisfactory for the price. The rooms and shower facilities are perfectly adequate and the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy. Also, the woman on the front desk was super friendly and helpful!

It was a cheap hostel, so I'm not expecting the best of conditions. Nevertheless, it was clean, people are friendly, with a great location and view to skye bridge, in the lovely place of Kyleakin.

Excellent staff and good facilities. Having also stayed in the nearby hostel I prefer Saucy Mary's as the bunk beds are better designed and easier and safer to get into.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, lovely atmosphere in building. Good kitchen and bedrooms. Not sterile like a Youth Hostel. Lovely saltmarsh and castle walks to rear. Plenty of parking on very quiet street

The hostel is relatively cheap for an accomodation on Skye. Staff were lovely and helpful in both the hostel and the restaurant.
