The YHA Ambleside sits on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. It offers a range of budget accommodation and a café serving local food. Staff is very polite and friendly. Asked them to take early breakfast since we needed to be on our way early morning, and they prepare for us breakfast for take away with message that made my day! Place is very nice and location is nice. I hope i will come back next time! I would like to thank them!

Denton House ligger i marknadsstaden Keswick i hjärtat av Lake District National Park, bara 5 minuters promenad från Keswicks fritidscenter. WiFi och parkering är gratis. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

Fisher-gill Camping Barn ligger i Thirlmere och erbjuder gratis parkering och en terrass. I had the most wonderful time here! The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!

Kirkby Stephen Hostel har ett centralt läge, 4 minuters bilresa från tågstationen, mellan Cumbrias Lake District och Yorkshire Dales. key was on the door, well situated but best was little on suite bathroom

YHA Helvellyn ligger på den cumbriska landsbygden, bekvämt beläget för att besöka Lake District. Här finns gratis parkering och en bar. The location was very great. Very nice and clean room. The bar and reception were great as well. Parking was nice as well. Easy to access.
