Charlie the caretaker was a very nice lady. The rooms were super clean. The dorms were beautiful. The bathrooms were super clean and tidy as well. You can also cook your own meal in the self catering kitchen.

The YHA Ambleside sits on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. It offers a range of budget accommodation and a café serving local food. Staff is very polite and friendly. Asked them to take early breakfast since we needed to be on our way early morning, and they prepare for us breakfast for take away with message that made my day! Place is very nice and location is nice. I hope i will come back next time! I would like to thank them!

Denton House ligger i marknadsstaden Keswick i hjärtat av Lake District National Park, bara 5 minuters promenad från Keswicks fritidscenter. WiFi och parkering är gratis. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

Fisher-gill Camping Barn ligger i Thirlmere och erbjuder gratis parkering och en terrass. I had the most wonderful time here! The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!

YHA Helvellyn ligger på den cumbriska landsbygden, bekvämt beläget för att besöka Lake District. Här finns gratis parkering och en bar. Best hostel I've ever stayed at...spotlessly clean,excellent food and friendly staff..can't fault it.

YHA Holly How erbjuder sovsalar i Coniston, 10 minuters bilresa från Hawkshead i Ambleside. Här finns ett spelrum, en middagsrestaurang och gratis parkering på området. The room was spacious, with storage boxes provided under the beds. Multiple showers and bathrooms. Rooms cleaned daily. Great location to hiking nearby.
