Basecamp Wales er et familiedrevet vandrerhjem i Llanllyfni, i udkanten af nationalparken Snowdonia og 30 km fra Pen-Y-Pass og 8,2 km fra stranden på Dinas Dinlle. Really friendly family that owns the place, excellent communal kitchen with loads of space and utensils, big common room with tv/pool table/eating tables etc. Good location with access to loads of walks around Snowdonia.

James John Hamilton House and backpacker hostel ligger i Fishguard, i udkanten af Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Tenby ligger 57 km derfra. Der er gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. I loved the home, the room accommodations, the hospitality and the host!! I was warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in this lovely and charming place. My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I was close to the bus station and a good pub for dinner. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I hope to be back one day!! Thank you, Steve, for everything!!!

The staff was so nice and welcoming and the place really clean! It was definitely the cleanest shared bathrooms and a kitchen we've seen in a hostel, and we've seen many. Would stay again!

Breakfast was very good.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. Amazingly spacious, clean room with everything you’d need. Great to have all the usual hostel facilities while also having a hotel quality room and en suite! The location was top notch - parked in our usual car park and said “we better find the hostel” - looked up and there it was!

Butchers Arms - Grill Pub and Accommodation ligger i Merthyr Tydfil, 45 km fra Cardiff University. Der tilbydes hurtig ind- og udtjekning, ikkeryger-værelser, terrasse, gratis wi-fi overalt samt bar. Der var en super skøn atmosfære, venlig personale, skønt mad. Vi var meget begejstret. Rummet var pænt og nyt, toiletter og bad på gangen.

Tafarn Yr Heliwr ligger i Nefyn, 35 km fra Portmeirion og 43 km fra Snowdon Mountain Railway. Der er bar og gratis wi-fi. Anna was so friendly and helpful.

We were able to set thermostat where we liked. I appreciated this sooo much! The house is amazing with three bathrooms! I loved being in the house it is beautiful and so many helpful details were given to us about wifi and where to go locally etc. Our host was super friendly and helpful with questions! We were able to do washing at the house which was lovely too! I was very happy to be in a house where recycling is taken seriously too. We had a great stay! The host is a seriously lovely person.
